UNH0A service segment starting and uniquely identifying a message. The message type code for the Statement of account message is STATAC. Note: Statement of account messages conforming to this document must contain the following data in segment UNH, composite S009: Data element 0065 STATAC D B UNMandatory
BGM0A segment by which the sender must uniquely identify the Statement of Account.Mandatory
DTM0A segment specifying the dates, and when relevant, the times related to the whole message. The segment must be specified at least once to specify the message date as allocated by the sender.Mandatory
RFF0A segment for referencing documents which relate to the whole message.Optional
CUX0A segment identifying the currency of the Statement of Account. The payment currency is the default currency for all amounts, it must be specified in international transactions.Optional
NAD1A segment to identify a party name and address, either by coded identification or in clear form.Mandatory
CTA2A segment to identify a person or department and their function, to whom communications should be directed.Mandatory
COM2A segment specifying the communications channel and number for the specified contact.Optional
DOC1A segment identifying the reference document against which payment is to be made.Mandatory
MOA1A segment to specify the required amounts for the referenced document e.g. amount due, discount amount, payment amount.Mandatory
DTM1A segment to specify the date of the referenced document and to indicate any other relevant dates applicable, e.g. Due date, Tax point date, etc.Optional

MOA0A segment specifying the total amount pertaining to the message. The outstanding balance amount is mandatory and is taken as given, i.e. it is not subject to recalculation.Mandatory

UNT0A service segment ending a message, giving the total number of segments in the message (including the UNH & UNT) and the control reference number of the message.Mandatory
